At phos, we know many traders are looking to repurpose their business model to focus on delivery as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
To help make this easier, we’ve launched a scheme which will offer free payment acceptance to small traders affected by the crisis.
Phos is the first application that turns a merchant’s smart device – such as a phone or tablet – into a Payment Acceptance (POS) terminal. This enables contactless payments from any Android device, as long as it’s NFC-enabled.
What we can offer:
- Free contactless payment acceptance – no fees or costs for traders accepting payment
- No minimum billing or contract length
- No hardware costs – contactless card payments can be accepted on any Android phone providing it is NFC enabled
- We’re working with our partners to maximise the capacity of this scheme, however due to the rise in demand, we can’t guarantee that everyone who applies will be accepted.
- The free payment acceptance will be for a minimum of three months, after which we will work to extend the scheme, or minimise fees. There will be no obligation for traders to continue beyond this.
